The author is Stephanie Spellers, Presiding Bishop Michael Curry’s Canon for Evangelism, Reconciliation, and Creation—helping Episcopalians to share the good news and cross boundaries as part of the Jesus Movement. Due to COVID, we will not be having food/drink at this time.  Ash Wednesday Community Worship 3/2 at 6:30PM, plus Ashes-to-Go option 5-6PM In the church and online! Ash Wednesday marks the beginning of the season of Lent. St James Episcopal Church will be joining with our siblings in faith from various churches to mark this special day. We are this year's hosts for the 16th annual ecumenical Ash Wednesday worship service on March 2 starting at 6:30PM (no 4PM service that day). Worship will include imposition of ashes, the symbolic reminder of our humanity and mortality: "Remember that you are dust, and to dust you shall return." Monthly Fellowship Gathering - Saturday 3/12 at 9AM (In-person & Zoom) Our next monthly fellowship gathering will take place at 9AM on Saturday, February 12. We’ll gather in the Fellowship Hall at St James (bring your own food/snacks, if you like). A Zoom option is available for those who can’t be present in-person. Last month we started combining the women’s & men’s fellowship gatherings. All are welcome!
